Custom File Scan Bug
« on: January 08, 2020, 11:18:44 PM »
I just noticed today that when I right click on a folder to manually scan it, even though that specific folder is on my exceptions list, Avast doesn't scan it at all. It's a folder containing one of my games, and I don't want Avast passively scanning it while I'm playing that game, to prevent a drop in performance.
Is the reason why Avast won't even do a manual scan on it because it is on my exceptions list? I don't mind doing a scan on it once in awhile while the files in that folder aren't in use, but not while the files are in use.
Any help would be appreciated.
I'm attaching a picture of that scan. As you can see, it didn't scan anything, even though it's a 12 gigabyte folder.
Thank you.
