No option to create an exception
« on: January 10, 2020, 12:12:20 PM »
I have Avast on two computers. They both regularly inform me that they have discovered an infection when I access YouTube.

On one computer, there is a button to add an exception. Clicking that gets rid of the alerts for a while. On the other computer, there is no button to add an exception. I guess I could dig down into the program on the second computer to add an exception every time this occurs, but I would rather have a button similar to the one on the first computer

Hi,

In general the option to "create an exception" depends on the type of detection.
Nevertheless, could you provide us with the Web Shield log file.
The web shield report is here:
C:\ProgramData\AVAST Software\Avast\report\WebShield.txt
