Network Traffic Graph Options
« on: January 07, 2020, 10:22:41 PM »
Is it possible to have different options for the network traffic graph? Logarithmic looks ok but it's difficult to get any useful data out of it, especially when usage goes above 10GB.

Is it download and upload or just down?

Is it possible to see more than 24 hrs of data or is this not stored?

Is it possible to see the data broken down by user or device?

Can we export the usage data?

Thanks

Hello,

the traffic graph shows both upload and downloads altogether.

Unfortunately, now it is impossible to show a bigger time period than 24 hours, the export is also unavailable.

Breaking data by the user isn't implemented yet but probably will be in one of the future releases. It was already discussed with developers.

Thank you.

Hi,

It's great that per user usage is being implemented. Are there any plans to go per device, split uploads and downloads and change the graph scale type?

The graph is ok for a rough overview of your network but it's not very useful for getting details out of your network like whether you're using too much data, whether there is a device uploading or downloading when it shouldn't be or more than it should be.

Hello,

I agree with you that network stats could be improved much more with detailed info. Breaking data by user and device was discussed with developers. It will be implemented in future versions. Splitting downloads and uploads and other timeframes for graph weren't planned yet for next releases. I'm not sure if such features will be developed in the near future.

Thank you.
