Avast Sequrity on mac-os machine running a web-server
« on: January 31, 2020, 11:20:50 AM »
Hello, I have installed the free version 14.3. for MacOS (I am currently using MacOS 10.14 Mojave) - on a machine running a WEB-Server.
The Web-server will not start because Port 80/443 is used by Avast. Uninstall Avast, and everything works fine, but then I do not have any virus protection.
I would like to upgrade to a subscription, but first I need to have this solved.
I do not find any configurable options to solve this.

Hello,
Avast should not use 80/443 ports. Please verify the state by running
sudo lsof|grep LISTEN|grep http
I have tested this on Catalina and localhost's web server is accessible from browser via both http and https.
Kind regards,
