WI-FI INSPECTOR not showing all connections
« on: February 10, 2020, 05:32:23 PM »
Until last week, when I used the WI-FI INSPECTOR scan, it picked up everything in the  house from cameras to TV, to laptop to Alexa and phone.  It completes a scan and says that everything is OK but only shows my PC and ROUTER.  Whats up with this? Should I be concerned?

AND BTW, (whole different subject)  I am so tired of calling AVAST TECH SUPPORT to ask for the answers to simple questions and having them trying to immediately try to sell me a paid security program. If it is an AVAST ISSUE, and I am a paying subscriber, they should want to research whether others are having this issue or research it from within and then contact me to let me know the issue is being worked on.

Is there any such place you can report AVAST product issues without having to speak to TECH SUPPORT and be confronted with persistent upselling?

Phone support is third party not directly from Avast.

AVAST does not make this clear to their customers upfront and that is is, almost always a service for which there is a subscription or fee. If it is third party, perhaps they should distinguish that fact by not calling themselves ACAST TECHNICAL SUPPORT, nor should AVAST market the by a "family" name.

THE ACTUAL POINT is - Avast should service issues to paying customers for its products. It is frustrating to have security and any necessary program to your computer relegate technical answers for customers to a forum of largely non-specialists
