Turn on sync and backup - Restore link missing

Hi. I have installed Avast Password on my phone (i have never used it before), i'm trying to activate sync and backup but i don't get the "Restore link" to my email. Need some help please?

Update. I found the email with the "Restore link" (2017), so far so good, but Avast Password is asking for master password i created the first time i used the app, but i can't remember the password. How can i start all over again?

Thanks, but I wonder how a clean install of avast will solve the main password problem on my phone?

It will not. That would require a factory reset where you start from scratch.

Hi there,

I have just factory reset my android phone and I restored everything back again from the backed up file. Nevertheless, Avast Password doesn't seem to restore though I have login details for it. I followed the following steps:
1. I logged in using 4 digit Avast Login Password
2. I clicked on 3 dotted bar, clicked on settings
3. Clicked on Synbhronization and Back-up
4. Clicked on Turn On
5. Clicked on Login
6. Typed in previous username and password
7. It says, Pending authorisation to account.... and I couldn't go any further from here, sort of stucked. I clicked on How to Self-authorise.
Also, the Restore Link in my email is expired as well. Pls HELP.
