I was asked to restart my computer this morning by avast so I did. I still have the same build 20.1.2397 (version 20.1.5069.559) and the same version interface 1.0.460. So why did Avast asked me to restart as I can't see any change ?
Could be a minor bug fix or engine update

Re: NEW Version: 20.1 (February 2020) - magento phishing?

Hello
Yesterday 11/03/2020 there was an update of the program. After that, many of our customers who use Avast cannot see our site because Avast blocks it. The message is that the site is phishing - Treat Secured. This, of course, is not true. The site is a commercial site with a 12 year history and online payment. We do not collect customer data. This is a serious site.
System administration and platform support company / Magento 1.93 / do not find the reason for this blocking.
Please help or ideas?
Greetings
Anna

New version of avast rendered legitimate software x360ce unusable. It completely stopped the functionality (emulatint xbox controller by transtating dinput devices). The program works only if I disable avast monitors. Adding it to exceptions isn't possible for reasons. Can you give the functionality back?

It happened to me too and after rebooting I have not noticed anything changed .. even if changes are desirable. I noticed several things wrong.
I look forward to a new version ... otherwise for the moment we return to Windows defender!

Hello,

After a fresh installation of windows 10 pro, I noticed Avast was continously asking to restart the PC. I tried first a repair install, but no luck. Then I uninstalled it, but now I cannot reinstall because installer say I need to restart the PC after Avast last action!!.

Here's the log

tried, it doesn't find any problem

Strictly speaking, I don't think is a problem of my system, I'm coming from a fresh installation. I think is a problem of Avast, which is checking for a restart. Unless there's not a command line option for the installer, saying: "don't check, install!" I fear the solution will be...install another antivirus

Not without first totally removing Avast. If you did a clean install of Windows, you should have ended up with Defender?

I would give the following another try to see if it fixes the problem.

Solved

I run avast support tool to generate a ticket, but crashed.
Then I entered safe mode with network, and started offline installer, and it worked. (Previously it doesn't, but it was just after launching avast clear, and without rebooting). I stopped the installation, launched windows normally, and installed the antivirus. Now is working fine
