Avast Free Installing Google Chrome without Permission (Again)

27Feb'20 On my Windows 10 PC. After several messages from ZoneAlarm flagging unusual activity from Avast Free I connected to the internet and allowed Avast connection.
When I next opened the user interface there was a screen congratulating me for upgrading. (Avast is now 20.1.2397)
When I closed the UI there was a Google Chrome browser window underneath, inviting me to update "the worlds fastest and funkiest browser from the people who farm your personal information"(or something similar)

I do not want Chrome. I did not ask for Chrome. Avast Free did not give me the option to reject Chrome. Avast Free installed Chrome without my permission.

This makes me very annoyed!

When you install Avast Free you have the option to not install Google Chrome.
