Expectations for VPN Use
« on: March 31, 2020, 05:26:11 PM »
I have some new questions.
1. Some sites won’t accept sign-in when I am connected via VPN, e.g. Credit Karma. So to access that site I have to close the VPN, use the site then open the VPN.

2. When I change location many sites require confirmation that it was me who signed in. Some require a confirmation via a new pin, or a special code sent to me. Both of these are pain in my neck! Is there a way to avoid these annoyances or is this SOP?

Hi Idala
I personally am not seeing this behavior.
Possibly someone else has experienced this and has a remedy.

schmidthouse, this was more of a complaint than a request for solution. so thanks for trying. however if anyone does have a solution, please let us all know. i'd send it to support, but when looking for the support web page i finally get to https://support.avast.com/en-us/contact/paid_pc_avast-premium-security on which there is nothing about VPN.
