DNS issues with Avast

I installed avast premium and started having internet connections issues right away. I get dns_probe_finished_no_internet I went through all of the standard troublshooting and updating drivers but nothing helped. The problem comes and goes every few minutes. Uninstalling Avast resolves the problem. I reinstalled and the problem is back. I cannot upload a support file because it fails due to the connection issues. This is the only system on the network having problems so it is not a provider issue.
OS is Win10 fresh install,

No other security software installed. Fresh install of windows 2 days ago
Used free before was still an issue on this computer but I didnt know it. Thought it was a problem with the NIC so I put another in.

Repair Avast:
1. Avast GUI -> Settings -> Troubleshooting
2. Click on 'REPAIR APP'.
3. Follow instructions.
4. Reboot.

Didn't help. Also have tried multiple reinstalls.

OK, see if it helps to disable Real Site in Avast. (Reboot afterwards)

No difference. At this point I have uninstalled it again and have another product installed that is working fine. I will see if I can utilize this on my laptop to take advantage of the subscription I have bought.
