Hello to all Avasters.

I have two systems. A desktop with Windows 10 64 bit plenty updated, no other security software than Avast Antivirus (and Windows defender that insists to stay) has Avast Secure Browser 80, wich some time ago does not manage to download video from any streaming site, no video whatsoever. Nada.

The other is a notebook, also with Windows 10 64 bit, no other security software than Windows Defender (it has not Avast). This notebook has Avast Secure Browser 79 (it doesn't update to 80, don't know why) but There the video download feature works like a charm.

I have reset configuration of the firts system, Uninstalled/Reinstalled it, compared configurations, and so I would like to have the Download video feature (wich is there at Avast secure Browser in the Notebook).

Can please you help me?

Thanks. Interesting thing is that the AVG video downloader is disabled. But when I click Extensions, it reports I don't have any installed.

Hi,

Since it is disabled we just need to enable it.
However, it might be better if you were to install Avast Secure Browser (instead of AVG Secure Browser) seeing that you are using Avast Antivirus (according to the information you posted).
Please use this link.

After the installation, please reply with your results.

Hi,

Aha, Good point. But I have downloaded Avast Secure Browser. All extensions came along with its default installation. I can set those extensions only in developer mode.

Thanks once more.

What if you go to settings, extensions make sure developers mode is turned on.

Find the video downloader extension and make sure it's turned on.
