Avast DNS issue

Hi Team,

A DNS related issue need your help.

I know that DNS request will be sent to Avast's secure DNS servers when VPN is connected.
But I found that even if the VPN is disconnected, all DNS requests are also sent to Avast's DNS servers, that's not expected behavior.
Next, I tried to disable the related setting via GPO according to: https://support.avast.com/en-nz/article/Prevent-SecureLine-VPN-DNS-leak
the issue still exists.

So, the expected behavior I think:

While VPN is connected, all DNS requests will be sent to Avast's DNS servers for security reasons.
While VPN is disconnected, all DNS requests should be sent to my local DNS servers for GEO optimization.

what can I do for this?

Are you also running the paid AV..? If so, disable Real Site.

Thanks very much for your support, eventually I tried to configure some exceptions for those domain names I often access to solve the issue.
