Remnants of AVG and Avast left after uninstalll.
« on: March 25, 2020, 02:22:08 AM »
had been trying out Avast and AVG internet security packages but decided to go with another package.
However after running their uninstalls and both Avastclear and AVGclear there are still items related to these products in the registry and taskbar settings.
Is there any way to remove these?

If you're computer-wise, registry remnants can be removed/deleted manually

Warning: Not to be attempted if you're unsure of what you're doing.

Also looks like the removal tool wasn't used when the programs were removed.
