Everything has gone to the wind

I've been with Avast a long time even making the decision to PAY for it in support.  But you've gone the Chrome route and I've not had so much trouble with my PC since uninstalling Chrome.  Everything is at a crawl, I am being redirected to Russian sites and scans show no problems.

I've written 3 times now without a response - guess it's time to put Avast in the Chrome bucket.

Same damn ads, redirects and stupidity - sad what money does to a once great product!   

My last contact I asked that you address the issues and supply a fix and a month later nothing.

Can you explain what you mean by "Chrome route" ?
What version of Avast? What operating system ?

I uninstalled Chrome.  Avast Version is 80.0.3620.132

In addition to what I mentioned:

It loses connections to my email programs in minutes which it never did.

There are constant ads trying to promote more Avast product, just excessive ads!

Slowness increased by a factor of 10 or more.

Totally screwed my pdf files which I use for business and research, won't display in newest browser and changed all my pdf icons and default Adobe program!

As a user of a Paid version of avast you should be able to disable ads/promotions for other avast products.
