After win10 1909 Build 18363.535/ 1903 Build 18362.535 

when avast/avg protectionis set off,

avast/avg is freeze with Microsoft IME

You are using Avast Free Beta.
Could you please try the stable version and see if you have the same issue.

Please follow these steps:
1. To generate the support file, please see this link.
https://support.avast.com/en-ww/article/Submit-support-file
2. Once you have the zipped file (which was generated via the support tool), please add it to your reply.
3. If it is too large then you can upload it to a file hosting service of your choice.
Please provide me with the link to the folder.
