Google translate, "Excuse me for responding in Spanish.Whatever it is, I would like to know if this Google policy called "QuicAllowed" was actually placed by you, it also appeared to me after updating my Avast, the truth was that at first I was afraid after reading the message that I am " being managed by my organization, "but it would calm me to know what something is for the protection of our equipment.Pdt: Google already has this topic in its forum, and apparently they think that Avast has been causing it, adding that there are confirmed cases with another antivirus"

QUIC is an experimental transport protocol for web traffic developed by Google which is currently being integrated into HTTP/3

Hello friends,

in the uUpdate 568 we have updated the behavior of the "Quic scanning" checkbox in the WebShield settings (under core shields). If you disable QUIC, we are now removing the blocking policy immediately. You can go to chrome://policy in chrome and click "Reload policies" to update that without a browser restart.

In order for this to work, you need to be on 20.2.5130.568 or higher. (a reboot or two is the safest way to induce the update if you are not already on it)

We are still considering disabling QUIC blocking completely - in order to save you from the hassle of going into the settings and turning it off manually.

Cheers,
Lukas.

Hi Manager,

I'm using Avast Premium v20.2.5130.568.

I disabled QUIC/HTTP3. It has fixed for Chrome (v81).

So what should I do for Firefox (v75)? Problem continues there.

Thanks in advance.

How do I solve the problem? The name of the criterion is QuicAllowed and the value is false. I suffer from anxiety and heart problems.

I have no clue what your health conditions have to do with your question?

Next to Default, select the Down option and change it to Disable

Absolutely nothing. I apologize for pulling my health in the middle. I tried to do as suggested but nothing, disable quic / http3 scanning what would it entail? I'm not familiar with these computer languages.

I suggest you read the entire discussion. It has to do with computer security which is what Avast is offering.
At the moment, doing so results in you being told that your browser is managed by your organization. (Avast is the organization.)

I do hope a proper solution to this problem is found soon. Making unannounced changes to browser settings which cause it to display messages saying someone else has control of the browser and sending users on a big search all over the web as to what caused it makes users feel less safe rather than safer, I'd say. The intentions appear to have been good, it seems, but the execution less than laudable.

Totally agree but, in the interest of security, my browser is still being managed by Avast even if I am still able to make whatever changes I deem necessary.

Hi all - we had an Avast update today on our PC and after that Chrome would not open - we restarted the pc and then Chrome opened but asked us to sign in - which it has not for years - then we sign in and it appears bookmarks, history, passwords etc have gone. Is this the same issue as this thread?
Thanks

We also now have the managed by your organisation phrase

A little off-topic and silly question:
Why has my firefox been run by my organization for over six months ?
I don't think it had anything to do with the new protocol but the message is the same.
For firefox we could also remove this message by deleting a key from the registry.

well guys, just turn off the web shield (under= protections=core shields)  and (maybe not necessary) turned off  anti-spam (under=privecy). i did that and chrome become normal as it should be. i am using version 20.2.2401 (build 20.2.5130.570) full version 1 year.
