Avast 5.0 or 4.8 ??

Hello,

The more time goes by the more we hear about the next Avast release but I don't know if its going to be avast 5.0 or avast 4.8 can anybody tell me

While you're at it everybody wants to know some dates so can we have a period or any ideas on when its going to be releases as well as some of its new feature

For sure it won't be avast 5.0 that is expected for next year, after (concurrent) to Vista release.
Could be avast 4.8 but even just a new build of 4.7

Most of the folks you are talking to in this forum are avast users - just as you are.

avast will tell us of their release plans when they are ready to do so. 

Everything else is "are we there yet? are we there yet?" and the guesses of your fellow users.

ive heard a whisper that its gonna happen soon  im guessin Tuesday .
Which one is still a mystery but at least you only need check once a week now
