command line to open systray context menu
« on: April 20, 2020, 02:40:06 AM »
I want access the systray icon context menu in a macro and so need a command line to focus the macro on the systray icon. I have run the numerous EXEs, but none open that context menu. What code can I use in the macro to open the context menu ?

There's no such command line.
Why do you need that? Maybe there are other ways to achieve what you're looking for.

Why do I need that ?
because "I want access the Avast systray icon context menu in a macro" and a text line in a macro is more accurate than a mouse action.

It is very simple to achieve my aim manually, but I'd like to compress the four mouse clicks involved into ONE click on a batch file.

Hi joephil42, I believe igor was asking what you want to do with the context menu, like opening Avast UI, updating virus definitions etc, not your aim for making batch file.
