Every other day it seems I have a notification in the system tray that my Avast Firewall is disabled. Each time I try to enable it whether through a right click on the system tray icon or through the interface it just stays disabled. It's become a huge issue since the only way I've been able to enable it is through CCLeaner ->Uninstall options. THEN it tells me to either repair or uninstall so I click repair and it fixes the issue. But then I have to shut everything down to restart my computer to make sure it's actually enabled. Needless to say it's tiresome and irritating to do this every few days at least.
I tried "repairing" through the actual troubleshooting interface of the program itself and it has literally sat there for the past 5 hours telling me it's repairing. I will assume it isn't. Any idea why this is happening? If I can't find a solution I will uninstall it, get a refund and spend it on another product. I'm tired of dealing with this.
I'm using Windows 7 with MalwareBytes Premium, and that's the only other security software I have running. Thank you for any help.
