I had a problem installing from UI Update route.
File seemed to complete download phase then error message saying "Something went wrong" or similar.
I hit the [Check for Updates] button and the app update then proceeded to install.
Normally update via UI is straightforward and simple. If anyone incurrs the same error, I hope this is some help.

Noticed, in the last stable release, that the Data Shredder progress bar is no longer linear. Rapidly progresses to the end & hangs there until operation is complete. Never had time to report it, but it's still 'broken' in this release.

Those new alerts aren't working, no alerts at all.

Just updated, no problems during the process.

It would be nice to see the "fixed issues" from the previous version in the changelog. Now this doesn't need to be really detailed but should include most important fixes from known issues.

I also don't see the new alerts when a new device is connected to the network. Does Dual Band routers which simultaneously run two different WiFi bands at the same time have something to do with this? I would doubt it.

I've also said this earlier. Regarding password protecting Avast through Settings, the option "Require password only to access settings" still allows Protection Shields to be disabled via the UI and the tray icon. I don't like this approach, it should prevent disabling of protection features. The other option of "Require Password to Open Avast" does work but what if a user who did not know the password etc would like to run an on demand scan etc?
