Thanks for new version ...

i wanna ask you for very strange thing .... why we can't check scan progress when we close the small window in right corner !

When i open Avast and goes to Scan Tab i can't find any trace of progress scan even if the scan is in progress (cpu is used by app).

i hope you will resolve this issue !

It would be nice to see the "fixed issues" from the previous version in the changelog. Now this doesn't need to be really detailed but should include most important fixes from known issues.

Two items are checked in the WI-FI Ispector security settings:
- Automatically scan for new networks
- Automatically repeat network scan ...
Below I notice an animated icon (circle with a rotating ball) and which always remains so. It's normal?
In the latter version I also see a higher memory consumption. Can the two be linked?

That's a known bug and should get fixed soon.

Those WiFi inspector settings are also present (including the spinning circle) and checked, even if the whole component isn't even installed. Is that the way it is supposed to be?

I don't think it should be that way!
I uninstalled the component and those settings are actually still there, including the rotating circle!
Hope the bug is corrected as soon as possible.

Except for a possible need to provide feedback on 20.3 to Avast!, is it worth the user updating to the new version?

Did you try to click on the item to see if it actually opens the app?

yes already tried that before posting , the "password protection" still opens and the "passwords" its just circling forever it doesnt work it was automatically installed after the latest update.....

note: the "password protection" on the screen shot i already disabled it by default during its first release then yesterday after the latest update , i realize i dont really need this component so i decided to uninstall this component and i just notice after the latest update the "password" which i didnt installed that was automatically installed after the latest update and when you click "passwords" it just circling forever then i go to "troubleshooting" menu to see what installed components i see that  "passwords" are uncheck meaning it was not installed but weird part is it still appears on the "privacy" list...

in the "troubleshooting" i uncheck the password protection / webcam shield...since i dont need this two components (i didnt uncheck the passwords since its already uncheck in the first place)
after uninstalling them and restart the pc several times only the webcam shield was uninstalled but the remaining 2 components (passwords and password protection) still remains on the "privacy list" but when you look at the installed components list it was already unchecked...so whats the reason about this? bug? i hope the next update fix the issue...
