Hello,
we have many Linux machines with Avast business for Linux (some with version 2.2.0, some with 3.0.3).

Since today's update (VPS #20050400), avastd stopped working on every machine.
In the logs we read:

Code: [Select]
May  4 12:30:41 deepthought avast[2280]: Loaded VPS #20050400
May  4 12:30:41 deepthought avast[2280]: Removed VPS #20050300
May  4 12:30:41 deepthought avast[2280]: License error: /etc/avast/license.avastlic: Invalid license signature
May  4 12:30:41 deepthought avast[2280]: Fatal error. Exiting.

Licenses are all different and they are still valid (some of them will expire in 2021), and nothing changed on the machines since yesterday, except VPS update.
What should we do now?

Hi, thank you for reporting, we are currently working on a new VPS release which will fix this, we are going to revert updated VPS binaries back to the previous state.

Hi,
VPS with fix has been released. Try to update virus definition. It should fix the problem.
