Where are my Passwords?
« on: May 10, 2020, 05:20:15 PM »
Suddenly I can't see my passwords anymore. Also the button "Passwords" is now "Password Protection" and only shows me that the browser extension is installed.

It should resuscitate after you do what I said in the browser extension. It worked for me...

Did you install Avast without the Passwords component, and only later decided to add it? I think that's why it happened to me.
If nothing works, do a clean installation...

No. I had to reset my computer and reinstall Avast. Quite normal with all standard settings. Including Avast Passwords.

I'm using Avast Premium Security 20.3.2405 (Build 20.3.5200.561) UI 1.0.509 and Windows 10 Pro 64 bit.

As you can see, there is no Passwords anymore. Just that ... browser feature (password protection... ist not the old Passwords feature) on the top left.

Just like what happened to me. Idk, after I fresh install Avast, it was working, I created a master password. Then I used the browser extension to lock it and unlock it again using the master password, it never disappeared again.

Password Protection is not the same as Passwords
This is Password Protection:

This is Passwords

Hello, there were implemented these changes:
if user never use passwords (PasswordsInVault = 0) then hide passwords manager and position use for Passwords protection
if user use passwords hide password guardian tab and remove banner from logins tab
if user bought password guardian (there is active valid license for Password Manager), keep it as it is
