Can't install Avast

I wanted to do a complete scan, so I enabled rootkit and UEFI bios scan in settings. (oh god why?)

After the scan, pc takes 2+ minutes to shut down. (it was 10 seconds before)

I checked event viewer, realized it was leaking some registry keys. Completely removed avast (picked uninstall for good option, restarted.)

Shut down problem fixed, download new setup file.

Run the setup, it says: installer cannot continue because the last Avast operation was performed without restarting. I restart, nothing. I clean the registry, nothing. I run the file as admin, nothing. No other av installed on the pc.

My only guess now is I have quite a few windows services disabled, maybe I disabled something that avast needs, to install? Which services does avast need to be installing?

Tried avast clear program in safe mode, still not solved.

I've never heard of comodo. Does the log indicate such a thing?

Anyway, I solved the problem by deleting the avast file under C: in safe mode. Avast cleaner wasn't doing its job properly, even when launched in safe mode. Manually deleting solved it.

After reinstalling avast, I still have registry leak problem which causes my pc to take 3 minutes to shut down (normally 10 seconds)
