G.EXE is malware

When i rebooted my pc the program "G" turned up in last of programs that were still open at shutdown. When i browsed the internet i noticed this (G.EXE) might be malware, which could be very difficult to detect. I have not yet undertaken any action other than rescan with AVAST premium.
Do you detect this malware and if not what should i do?
