Looking for what in an extension?
« on: September 08, 2006, 10:49:35 PM »
Hi forum members,

There are all sort of extensions for FF or Flock, doing all sort of things. What are you looking for in an extension. Get a look here:
http://www.econsultant.com/i-want-firefox-extension/index.html

Clearing all from your browser after a session, then this is the one for you paranoid: https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/1484/

But remember with the right tools )e.g. Restoration) these data can be retrieved. You really have to wait for mentioned data to be over-written, or you have no defense against some-one with a sleuth-kit. And with Ctrl + Shft + Del you have the same results + a little Crap Cleaner cleansing as a desert.
So think hard, you may not need it.

Cybersecurity is more of an attitude than anything else. Avast Evangelists.

Use NoScript, a limited user account and a virtual machine and be safe(r)!
