scheduling boot scan

on win2k, avast 4.7 pro.
how is it done?
I looked everywhere and found nothing but "clicking the *menu*"...

I don't have this.

Please help.

You need to switch from the Simple User Interface, if you haven't done that (see image)?

I don't have the pro version but I do have the avast Help file.

Check the Enhanced User Interface, the Enhanced User Interface Main Menu page, here you will find a Scheduler section.

I believe the question was about the boot-time scanner... i.e. there's no need to switch to Enhanced User Interface, you can just click on the "Schedule boot-time scan" item in the depicted menu ;)

I don't have the pictured menu and I can't find anywhere "schedule boot-time scan" option :\

Right click the avast icon, select Start avast! Antivirus, Menu, 'Schedule boot-time scan...'

This is what I see when I do what you say.

No "menu" anywhere...

You are supposed to rightclick on the menu of the Simple User Interface to bring up the menu.
If you are in the Enhanced User Interface already, select the "Scheduler" folder and the corresponding menu (and toolbar icon) will appear.

Click on the menu Sheduler

Third menu -> File - View - Sheduler
