Emergency update to Avast Premium Security.

Hello.

Had a emergency update to take Avast Premium Security to 20.3.2405 (Build 20.3.5200.574).

What were the changes?

Why do Avast not produce a pinned topic on emergency updates?

How do you know it was an Emergency Update ?
You might well see the Emergency Updater doing a check to see if an emergency update is available, which doesn't mean an update has ocured.

A minor change in the virus engines can be delivered via the regular Engines and Virus Updates.  This might result in the very minor update (compared to a regular program update) you mention.

For something this minor I personally don't feel it requires a sticky topic in the same way as regular program updates.

Because the highlight text colour has changed from white to light blue and the build number has incremented by three.

An example of the new colour is the Firewall tab, where "Firewall options" text is now light blue in colour.

When you get down to the 4th level of the build version this is very small/minor a change to the 3rd level more so and obviously the 2nd lever is in line with a regular program update (note the 3rd level would also change in this instance.

I'm not aware of any colour coding to indicate an emergency program update, but then again I'm still using Avast Free and version 20.2.2401 (build 20.2.5130.570). 

I may even wait for 20.4 before updating as I didn't see anything critical or worth updating in the 20.3 change log.  But then again the change logs have been pretty abysmal with what's changed/fixed/updated, lacking in detail.  You almost need to view the beta builds to get any idea what has been fixed, known issues, etc. etc. and I don't see any of these feature in the 20.3 program release notes/change log.

Hi, that's not related to program version but to UI version.

The build version changed from 471 to 474.

Due to no one actually stating the changes that took the build from 471 to 474, no one knows what changed beyond obvious UI changes (such as the one I mentioned).

So the question is asked again: What changed in the build to take it from 471 to 474?
