Any movement on resolving JS:Pdfka-gen?
« on: June 02, 2020, 06:14:06 PM »
I did a search and the last time this virus was mentioned was 2016 and was reported to Avast. It's nearly 4 years later and I have still been getting this alert any time I open a fillable PDF sent from work. Help!

It is not a virus but a exploit .... JS:Pdfka-gen [Expl]

Exploits take advantage of vulnerabilities in software. A vulnerability is like a hole in your software that malware can use to get onto your device. Malware exploits these vulnerabilities to bypass your computer's security safeguards to infect your device.

Upload one of those PDF to www.virustotal.com and scan it
