Avast Passwords for Firefox refused to be re-added

Hi! Avast passwords no longer can be added to Firefox? When I use the built-in Browser Integration button in the Avast interface itself, it opens up a tab in Firefox that says "redirecting to Chrome store".
I tried changing the "#chromium" to "#firefox", but what I got was "Sorry, something went wrong. Please make sure you have the latest Avast Passwords desktop app installed and try again." I've tried updating Avast, reinstalling Avast, etc. Nothing works.

I am getting this problem now, too. I'm using version 78.0.1 (64-bit) of Firefox, just updated my Avast to the most current engine. I had to clear my Firefox because it was having issues displaying Gmail. When I search the add-on/extensions store, there is nothing for Avast Passwords. I clicked on the button to enable it from the browser integration section of the passwords area. I get forwarded to the Chrome store.

same issue here. Latest update from Fierefox installed, passowrds plugin cannot get installed.

Hi,

Could you please try the following:
Take the URL opened in Firefox after adding the extension. Put it in a text editor and replace the "chromium" part at the end with "firefox". Then copy and paste it back into Firefox address bar.

I can't take the URL AFTER adding the extension because, when I press "add extention" in Avast browser extensions,  i automatically get redirected to this site:
