Avast Premium

I have all the latest paid avast software on my PC but this morning it has created a problem. After accepting recommendations last night avast clean up and restarting the computer as normal this morning, it will not allow me to open microsoft edge or outlook. It just says that the folder (appdata) it requires cannot be found. How do I restore this file?
