Okay for SSD?
« on: January 24, 2017, 07:19:33 PM »
I've heard that SSDs aren't supposed to be defragged.
I've ordered avast primer with cleanup, can you confirm that this is safe to use on an SSD?
Will it schedule a defrag automatically?  I want to stop it from doing that if it does.

Thanks in advance.

Defragging isn't exactly needed anymore since the introduction of NTFS (Windows) and never was needed for EXT.

I'm afraid the new Cleanup does. How to disable this function? I have SSD :'(.
