Hello,
After updating Avast Cleanup to v. 20.1 (build 8977), I noticed that, instead of trimming my SSD (used for C:, other partitions use HDDs), it was defragging it!!!
As I did not succeed in killing the process, using the Task Manager, I rebooted my PC.
Next time it asks to handle my drives, I will have it ignore C:.
But there is definitively something wrong in the defrag function, that is advertised as being able to make the difference between SSD and HDD.
FYI, this PC is using the very last version of Windows 10 64b, totally up to date.
MB: Gigabyte GA-B250M-D2V
CPU: Intel i7-7600
SSD: Kingston SV300 120GB
Not very last gen hardware, but far from obsolete.
Regards,
François
