Why do i see AVAST in my cmd when i do not use AVAST
« on: June 30, 2020, 04:00:37 PM »
Hello, I have a question please. I do not use AVAST on my pc and i keep seeing r-168-44-62-5.ff.avast.com:https  ESTABLISHED
r-28-45-62-5.ff.avast.com:https  ESTABLISHED  in my cmd when i do a netstat -f , why is this?  is someone hacking me syncing my apps spying on me by using AVAST on their pc syncing with my pc?

I did a full scan using Windows Defender and offline scan using windows defender, and then i did a search in my pc search bar for any possible AVAST program that could be in my pc but nothing was found so why is there AVAST in my cmd foreign address established in my connections? How can i get rid of it and is it a cyber stalker and if so should i get a private investigator to look into this? Am i at risk of an attacker?  Thanks

This looks like you still/have the Avast On-line Security add-on installed in Firefox (or your browser) ?

This browser add-on/extension is independent of the Avast Antivirus.
