Avast Scan report file huge, help with settings please
« on: July 08, 2020, 12:40:51 PM »
Hi,
I have Avast Premium Security & have just been looking around it & found the scan report file has got to 1.13GB!!
I did a quick Google search & it seems there should be an option to get new reports to overwrite previous but I can't find it anywhere. Can someone point me to it & if I manage to amend the setting will the file automatically reduce down or will I need to delete all the current files first?

Thanks

Thanks for that Asyn,  Just whilst I'm on the subject & looking at the report file, the heading is actually 2018 & I'm presuming that the file isn't just a single scan report??

You're welcome. (I'd suggest to delete the old report.)
