Losing long term customers.
« on: June 11, 2020, 10:10:14 AM »
I have been a full paying customer since 2014.

This year the price has jumped, it is up to 125% of last years. (60->75) : an egregious jump!
I signed up for a multi-year licence + Multi machine (3) , and have been degraded to a single-year licence. - Meaning the licence cost has gone up by > 225%
I don't care if the limit has increased to 10 devices - 3 was enough.

Avast is looking like it can kiss this customer goodbye - which they won't care about until it is too late.

My subscription has increased each year, year after year. Originally I signed up for 3 devices and was paying what I considered a fair price at the time. Now it increased to $100 and supposedly for 10 devices, which I didn't ask for the increase and I am not going to a Facebook or Twitter page to talk to a customer service rep. Those rep's should be available on the Avast website. I'm shopping for another provider.
