Avast GUI open every time at startup

Every single day. This really needs to get fixed asap.

It could have something to do with the Network scan and specifically the " Enable notification of new devices on this network " setting. After I had enabled that this weekend, the Avast GUI opened with every start-up. When I had disabled it again, the issue was gone.

I have just set this notification in my WiFi Inspector settings, so lets see if that generates this AvastUI and WiFi Inspector scan popup.

So far I haven't seen anything either, but it is still early days and I also haven't done a system restart after that either.

I don't even have WiFi inspector installed (in fact I have WiFi disabled in the house) and I get a popup every day that steals focus. Sometimes as much as 14 hours after booting. But always at exactly whole hours of uptime.

me too, with these settings checked, the UI did not open any more since the upgrade to version 20.6, and I've rebooted my computer several times .
However, what do we know about the periodicity/trigger of "Rescan home networks automaticaly"?
A record ,new network , every hour, every day, every week,...?
Because in "show latest results" of wifi-inspector, I have my last scan on July 22nd.

I don't know if you have tried this (or other options, repair, clean reinstall) or not, Save your existing settings and then restore the default settings in the UI, General > Troubleshooting section.  If it makes no difference after a restart, then you can restore the settings that you saved.
