Wifi Inspector - Prompted to scan network every reboot
« on: July 16, 2020, 06:48:56 PM »
I am running Avast Premium Security, Program Version 20.5.2415 (build 20.5.5410.561) with current virus definitions.  Recently (last couple of months), every time I reboot my computer, I am prompted to rescan my network and it tries to set it to public network.  This is only happening on my desktop computer, which is hard wired to the router (no wireless connection at all).  The scan only takes a couple of minutes, but it gets annoying that it constantly asks to rescan with each reboot.

Any ideas?

Repair Avast:
1. Avast GUI -> Settings -> Troubleshooting
2. Click on 'REPAIR APP'.
3. Follow instructions.
4. Reboot.
