In the "protection-shield-opties" there is a small list of files that Avast does not scan => e.g. config.sys, msdos.sys, ...ect
Why are these not scanned? What IF there is a virus that actually harms these files?

Oh, if i remove them, so Avast scans all files,...when i update the program, after reboot the files are back in that list. ...just wpndering
