I love your shredding service for deleted files.
One glaring omission, however, is Avast's inability to shred .mkv video files. Do you plan to add support for securely deleting .mkv files in the future? Or should I stop using .mkv files and switch to using a different video format that Avast supports?
Avast does go through the motions of shredding .MKV files. It will chew on one files for hours yet never finish the deletion process with a 'Close Dialog" button. I have to end the process manually. When I check for the .mkv file it is still on my computer and viewable.
Yes, Windows 10 will delete .mkv files but of course they are still recoverable on deep scans. I anxiously await an update that can securely delete .mkv videos.
