New VPN acting weird.
« on: August 07, 2020, 03:14:43 PM »
If my router is already secured at my home with a password, will the VPN work?  I realize it doesn't need to - I only need to use it when staying in hotels for my work.  I will contact support, BUT, I installed this yesterday after uninstalling Private Wifi (whose customer service is, and was, a joke), when I click on the icon to start the VPN, I get the splash screen telling me how the VPN works and why I need it, and my "online privacy is not protected,"  how my "IP address is visible to others, yada yada yada. Just weird.

Did you buy a License, sold by the month or yearly?

I decided to start over with the whole thing.  I started at the "buy" button, and it immediately takes me to a splash screen that says "It seems that you're offline, please make sure your internet connection works properly and try again."   I am most definitely NOT OFFLINE, I'm on the internet constantly, always connected at home.  Why does this keep happening?

Yep, operator error strikes once again!  Thanks, everybody, for your kind attention.  I'm good.
