Ajax a new security concern
« on: September 22, 2006, 01:59:05 PM »
Hi malware fighters,

Ajax functionality is slowly creeping out of the sandbox, creating security hazards.
Webmasters and marketeers applaud, security people and malware fighters are rather critical at these developments. and rightly so. AJAX poses dangers!!.
One of the things that can be used by malicious worms can be rather dangerous:
http://code.google.com/apis/ajaxsearch/ giving the malware worm propagation wings of a Google's size.

All the new technology interwoven on this big technological experiment, by others also known as 'the Internet', almost becomes unmanageable security-wise.

Cybersecurity is more of an attitude than anything else. Avast Evangelists.

Use NoScript, a limited user account and a virtual machine and be safe(r)!
