« on: August 08, 2020, 08:01:23 PM »
Hi
I try to looking for 64 bits version of Avast Secure Browser for Windows. If available ?
The actual link https://www.avast.com/secure-browser is for the 32 bits version.
And the ideal would be a standalone 64-bit version (we can dream a little not ?  8) )
Thank

There's only one version that runs on both 32 and 64 bit systems.

If you have an old x86 installation of ASB and want to switch to x64, follow instructions from Bob: https://forum.avast.com/index.php?topic=232707.msg1539290#msg1539290

Hi everyone.

I just installed it, so it's not an update from an older version.
Unfortunately this does not give a solution for running ASB in 64 bits.

It's still crazy that in our time when the majority of Windows 10 installed are in 64-bit, we need to fight to find 64-bit versions of many programs!

Thank you to all of you.

I remember having a similar experience trying to get the new 64bit version of ASB, but was after running the original 32bit version for some time. I managed to get the 64bit version installed OK after uninstalling the 32bit version. That was discussed here at the time:
