Hello,
I have been running Avast Free for more than a year now and recently switched to Avast Premium. This issue has been found in both the versions on two computers present on the same home Wi-Fi network.
I have been seeing the "Threat Secured" pop-up almost on a continuous basis when browsing or even when the computers are idle. In fact, many times these alert pop-ups show as soon as windows loads up. The window says that a connection was aborted to sites like ctldl.windowsupdate.com because it was infected with JS:Miner-AV[Trj]. I can’t connect to
http://www.mcshield.net/ too! and the browser shows that the connection was reset.
Additionally, I have scanned the computers using Malwarebytes' latest version, Zemana, HitmanPro and finally FRST (I have attached the reports), but all these tools haven't been able to detect any Trojan or malware on the machines.
I would love to know how this issue can be resolved.
Regards,
Rohith
