How to clean Error 42102 from my boot scan.
« on: August 21, 2020, 05:58:46 PM »
Hello everyone,

I am a new user to these forums, but I come to you with am issue that I hope can be resolved.

Lately I have been getting blue screens of death, and began the process of trying to pinpoint the issue.
My last effort had me disconnecting my internet and doing a boot scan.
To my surprise I had a handful of corrupted zip files called a decompression bomb that appeared within a 2 months time within long unused zip files.

The last file that i cannot track down nor delete is:
File C:\Users\Default\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows\WinX\Group3\01a - Windows PowerShell.lnk Error 42102 {Exception in macro viruses code.}

I have seen several posts on this very forums and around the net talking about this same error, but every post I found led me nowhere.

Hopefully someone from this very forums or from support can point me in the right direction.

Thanks,

Zodiac3
