It keeps shutting down my pc

I have recently loaded the free avast anti virus on to my pc, however if I leave my PC on overnight it's shutting down my pc, I need to allow my bookkeeper remote access and sometimes she goes on an this antivirus has shut down my pc, I want to be the only one who shuts down my pc, does anyone have any advice?

What makes you say it's Avast that's shutting down your computer? Any messages?
