Avast Passive Mode
« on: August 27, 2020, 05:18:27 PM »
Newest version of Avast Anti-Virus conflicts with programs on my Music Production Computer.  I need to be able to send Avast into Passive Mode, yet still stay connected to the Internet,  This is very important, because as of now I'm having to unintall/reinstall every time I need to use certain software.

Setting it to passive mode and using the internet isn't wise as in passive mode you have no protection and the internet is your biggest risk.

Can you be more specific/detailed as to the problem ?

If you are getting alerts, you should be able to add that file to the exclusions.  But without information it is really hard to suggest an action.
