Is dropbox blocked by sensitive data shield

Hi guys!
So, basicly my question is simple: I have my school work on dropbox which i will be accessing from a school computer, and there is a protected file in there by sensitive data shield. My question is, will i be able to open and modify the file thrue dropbox on another pc or will it block the thing?

I get that i can add allowed apps for the thing but i want to know if dropbox is already allowed or not by default without me having to allow it?

As far as I'm aware it isn't allowed by default. 

Why would it be when the site has zero control over what may be uploaded there nor what may subsequently be downloaded.

I'm not even sure how the sensitive data shield is involved with off-line data storage like dropbox.

I have no problems accessing files in my Google drive that are backed up from protected files.
