The changed colour of AOS search results indicators (now feint green shield outline with tick inside) has been reported by users as difficult to see. The design change should be reconsidered by devs, as it is now a visual accessibility issue.

I totally agree.

The notice that a site is safe or dangerous should be prominent.
Currently it is not.

For about a week or less, I have not been able to open Avast page.  Avast seems to be running, but when I attempt to access the Avast user interface -- all I get is a black screen message telling me to restart my computer.  But even after a restart, I still get the same thing.  One effect of this is that I cannot look at / change the settings.

This isn't an accessibility issue as per the first post and as such off-topic.

Try an Avast Repair from the Control Panel > Programs > Uninstall a Program > Programs and Features < Select Avast - Uninstall.  This doesn't initiate the Uninstall but gives other options from the next screen - select Repair and follow.

If this doesn't resolve your problem, please start your own new topic.

I am new user and unsure if this is correct forum.
Free AVAST locked up the profiles for my Thunderbird and Firefox accounts this afternoon between 1-2 pm EDT.  Claims it found VBS:GAMAREDON-cm in both.

I found references on www to previous issues with AVAST locking up Mozilla products.
Is there a way to validate if this is a false positive?  Have others reported issues?

Thank you.

I use both Firefox and Thunderbird as my default browser and email programs (for some considerable time) and haven't come across this.

However you don't give much information to work with.
What are the program versions for Firefox and Thunderbird  ?

What were you doing to trigger this ?
A screenshot of the alert with the more details option opened would have been very helpful.

I did a search on https://www.google.co.uk/search?q=VBS%3AGAMAREDON-cm and that returns many hits and some are related to Ukraine related malware.  Which in itself can disable firefox and thunderbird (first and third hits in the above search, though the third on is old).

Please report any accessibility issues with our antivirus products in this thread.
By accessibility issues we mean issues related to readers (for example: JAWS, NVDA) bad colors, poor contrast, DPI issues etc..

Hi I have subscribed Avast Premium, but when I ask it to solve privacy problems, it asks me to subscribe again

APS 23.5.6066 (build 23.5.8195.786)

So, I bought APS through PayPal. The order went through, Avast responded with e-mail to give me the activation code.

I enter the activation code and press on Resolve
https://imgur.com/IEhmUW7

only to be presented with an option to pay for the program again
https://imgur.com/hegVZ7E

and APS reverts to the free version

With any luck I hope this can be 'resolved'
