great stuff... the 26 licenses we purchased the other day are only for Avast Professional, which are not managed ... this was part of a test on Point of Sale (POS) lanes running on Windows 98 PCs, we have found that we have 124 POS lanes running Windows XP Embedded 5.1 which we have since tested on one of our Lab PCs and has been approved by QA. We found we couldn't run Symantec AV 10 on the 26 Windows 98 PCs and the 124 Win XP Embedded PC systems full below spec for Symantec Endpoint Protection 11, when i put Symantec AV 10 on a couple of these XP Embedded systems (which are not thin client) it caused a BSOD both had to be reimaged. Hence why we want Avast to be our solution.
We didn't look to manage the initial 26 PCs, but now that we will need an additional 124 license, we would like to manage all 150.... not sure how we can purchase the Enterprise copy with 124 licenses plus convert the 26 licenses PCs we already own to be managed by this console.
